I think when Alegri originally made this , he used older Daizy code , like one of the first versions ...

But he removed alot of the stuff surrounding zombies , probably deleted the assets , or may not have existed back then.

It is survival-ish ... and is more like your stuck in a civial war with task.  

It does have a broken mission in it, restoring the power supply at elecktro , I never could complete that mission , not sure why it's code stops working after repairing a few transformers.

But yes need food water, lots of stuff spawns in too ... camps.  The Island near chernogorsk, the big one just off the coast is "salvation island" , I noticed an opfor camp on it from a distance.
