I really don't understand why this doesn't work for me.

I left the game running (or stalled at the load screen) while I looked for solutions and found that the issue had advanced- the DayZ logo was much smaller with the word "LOADING" in red underneath it.

I found more in the .RPT file;

If I hit ALT F4 and load the saved game, my character is in the ocean, has no gear and there is no HUD, loot or zeds.

Any thoughts?
