OK so the only idea i have to add a second floor is if you were to build a house on ground and you built stairs on the outside side of your house/ thing you're trying to build but a little distance away from the house, so you can go onto the stairs, build the floor. but it will take a bit of trial and error and when you get it in the right spot, shoot to destroy the stairs and you're good.
