I don't mean this to be rude but you people may not be taking very good care
of your computer (Pointless programs, toolbars, viruses, Trojans, too many
programs open ect) and it might be bogging you guys down.

I suggest going through all your installed programs and keep only the ones
you need (If you don't use it regularly you don't need it) then, use a good
and trusted anti-virus and update any drivers that need it.

TL;DR - I can download it fine so get rid of viruses and pointless programs
that are making your computer slow and try again!

I'm using Firefox 26.0 without any trash attached. I do not have any additional programs running at all, not even things like Adobe Acrobat for reading PDF files. No screen savers, themes, or additional visual enhancements. Clean bill of health on viruses/trojans as well. I'm very OCD about junk on my computer.

Google drive ALWAYS craps out on me at the very last 200-300 kb and 'fails' the download. Mega just sits there and recycles ENDLESSLY at 83% going back down to 82%. It can keep this up all day. Both of these situations happen consistently.

I find it hard to believe that my browser is causing me all this grief but I'm thinking of installing Ms I.E. to see if using that would cause either of these downloads to finish. The fact that many people can download without effort while a few people have the same issues as me points to it being a problem on my end. I just cannot fathom what that problem is.
