There are specific AI Survivors with the ability, most do not have it, and they don't really identify themselves in the UI. If you select a Medic Survivor with an F key and tap 6 while a Survivor in the group is injured, the first command option will be "Heal Survivor". I recall seeing images of the healing types posted, must be on this thread.

Yup, I never found the config names for the medic icons, so I was unable to set them properly...
