Tried everything/Need solution/Can't launch Daizy

Hi, I've re-installed the entire Arma 2 package (including oa) multiple times while trying to get Daizy to work. I'll try and explain the best I can;
Originally, I followed the tutorial that is posted here; http://kodabar-dayz-daizy-single-player-forum.1084782.n5.nabble.com/RELEASE-DaiZy-Chernarus-1-7-6-1-FACTIONS-2-1-06-07-FINAL-RELEASE-td4144.html and everything worked fine, except that I was never able to launch the game.
I then tried going a couple different routes, and checked out different tutorials, including the one here; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HYxsR1E6Ahc and then I was able to launch a server, although I was stuck at the spawn point, unable to move.
Lastly, I tried using older files, and different tutorials once again, and finally I was able to launch the game, and everything working fine except for one slight problem, nothing was in the game except for me... No zombies, no npc's/ai, no nothing... -_-
Throughout my other failed attempts, I got several errors, pretty much everything from "You cannot play/edit this game due to deleted dayz files" or something like that. And even a couple simple errors that told me direct x 9 was not present, even though it is. Most problems only came after the update of the oa beta updater. But I think I was supposed to do that anyway? "I think".
I honestly tried pretty much everything, and followed most tutorials I could find, and now I am hoping someone can help by actually telling me what to do. I now have the most recent Daizy factions files (2.1) and most recent DayZ files as well (1.7.7). I also have the Arma 2 oa beta updater and practically everything else from all my failed attempts. I think I have everything necessary, and now just need someone to help guide me a bit more precisely. I will now just wait for a response, and I'll have the Arma 2 and its oa with their natural files, no dayz or daizy installed or present, so everything will be ready.
