I've been playing this for about a week now, and ive been on the hunt for the elusive "friendly AI" while doing so... ive killed a LOT of unfriendly AI, and I've had to restart 3 times now because after i kill about 50 or so, they just stop spawning and im alone in the world again.... Is this a bug? Is there a way around it? What can I do?
AI is triggered when you exit/enter a trigger again.
Do bandits respawn right away when the player crosses that trigger several times? I notice some stutter each time I walk into/get out a trigger zone. If this is the case, ain't it possible to set up a timer preventing the trigger to be triggered (lol) right away?
Im playing the newest one. and i've run(on foot several times, in several vehicles, and by heli) all over the map, and it seems like i've been hitting a cap around 50-55 killed.
I did some research - without any luck though...
I advise you to use the clean up dead bodies feature in the cheat menu : if you teleport or fly/drive around the map to kill things, you might have a lot of dead bodies, loot&Zeds spawn on going and a lot of scripts running at the same time...
I did some test with Loki's (wich is a stress testing tool to begin with) and noticed that an overload of scripts/units to handle would slow down their execution - at one point nothing won't spawn anymore unless you quit the game & reload in order to re-initialize everything.
I would clear out the airfield or a town by killing everyone and clean up the dead bodies after i had looted, there is no way that's what's causing it, but maybe its just something to do with my game. Oh well, thanks, much appreciated :)
