No singleplayer option appearing on the main menu?

the title says it all, I've run @DaiZy using the beta patch shortcut i have on my desktop.

I have the latest version of dayz (says DayZ Commander)
I do use DayZ Commander for playing DayZ online but I followed the instructions carefully on the blogspot thread
No error messages, only No singleplayer option/button on the main menu

Yup , No problems when running VANILLA DayZ.
