So I just installed chronocles of riddick from steam and evrytime I run the game my antivirus tells me theres a trojan detected called V in my app folder than it removes it and won't let me play the game. why would a game file be detected as a trojan??
AV's are mostly all bullshit. They tend to report unharmful things such as .exe files for games as a virus. The Steam game .exe might use some pattern of code in it which your AV thinks is a virus. I'd recommend un-installing the shitty AV w/e ure using and get a decent one, Norton is good. Or add an exception for the particular file. Because if there truly is a virus in it, then sue Steam and get rich. Easy money, eh?
