Day_SP Version bugs

Updated 27.10.2012:

1. Some users spawn in the pilot skin. (reports as fixed)

2. Some users report animations for the dead do not play. (working as intended due to corpse bug)

3. Aggro with high noise weapons seems affected, zombies do not seem to alert to noisy weapons.

4. Time cheat does not work in the 001 Menu (magic box does though), cheat no longer present...

1. Yes, fixed.

2. I fixed that awhile ago but Unknown/zedhunter didn't. It's because of the spawn_flies code.
This line of code causes it. _unit switchMove deadstate. This forces them to appear dead. So no death animation is played.

3. Yes, it's strange, I'm not too sure why. Sounds like normal DayZ to me.

4. That's because the cheat doesn't even exist. It's an option in the menu but the cheat itself isn't even there.

Thanks for the update, question: is there any code for removing dead bodies? ie: cleanup bodies to reduce lag?

The bodies dissapear by themselves for me. I obviously have to leave the area, but zombies/corpses despawn when I leave. :P

There was a problem before with AI units dying and not falling down - ie leaving standing corpses. Although the current situation isn't ideal, I reckon players would be happier losing a bit of animation than having bandits who don't fall down.

This is fairly odd. I disabled it a while ago and I haven't had problems like you had described.
It does seem to get a bit buggy sometimes but I haven't had the "standing death" problem yet.

I did have one problem, that was a death animation looping over and over, but that was likely because I am running around 16 mods at the same time.
