AI Bandits

I'm running 1.7.3 and some bandits just don't fire upon me I've stood in their face and they do nothing.

It's because they've hit the blunt. Some of the bandits appear to be stoners. x'3

You will (all) be happy to know I've fixed the AI Enemy logic in 1.7.3.

Meaning, AI Bandits will not only target you (player), but Zombies and Survivors once again.

I wasn't going to mess with the DayZ 1.7.3 files, but there is no other way to enable these functions, so the next release (map; mod) will have all the restored functionality of 1.7.2.6, but without all the bugs. Yippee!

I am also going to remove the "In Combat" timer because this is SP.

We don't need to be "punished" for wanting to quit the game if we are getting our asses handed to us by AI Bandits, or a mob of Zeds. I have a feeling this will also be removed in the stand alone / next mod update since it is a temporary fix to try and reduce PVP that has taken over DayZ (the logic being if there is a penalty for engaging in combat it, it will make combat a last resort and won't allow players to disconnect in order to save their asses).

I have also successfully modded the following...

-Head Shot only Zombies

-Slowed down Zombies (no more Zeds running faster than the player B.S.)

I am also trying to get the lights and power back on in Cherno so we can have maps set at night time, too, just like real MP...
