1.7.3 bug?

Hello, folkz. The 042eX + 1.7.3 doesn't seem to like each other. Everything is just perfect, except for the fact that you can't use clothing. This might just be for me, but whenever I use another skin, I can't drink/eat or anything. I get this message when I try to "Bla bla, have to be in your main inventory" (Obviously that's where I have it). However, the regular starting skin works just fine. :-)

And obviously bloodbag yourself doesn't work in 1.7.3 because it's retail files.

I just wanted to put it out there, I couldn't find any thread about it.

yea noticed this also and was planning on making a post whenever i seen what all it actually bugged out but it also takes away the combat info the not in combat thing in the top right and bugs it to where you cant click suspend and it also keeps you from using addons like loki's lost key and things whenever i change skins

Oh, didn't know that. I don't use mods atm. And I didn't notice the combat thing. However, skins is a big part of the game for me, so I went back to the old modded files, wich works just great too. The only difference is that you can't combine revolver ammo, and the death animation fucks up sometimes. ^^

To my knowledge, Niceonegunit (author of 42eX) didn't include the community fixes that address these bugs you are encountering.

The map I released (42c) does and all future maps will include community fixes as well.

The only major difference between our maps is my version does not have the artillery cheat, nor the teleport cheat.

To be honest, DayZ_SP. I never actually tried your map. I'm not to fond of the extra stuff that isn't DayZ-like. No offence ofc. That's just my preference. :P

The only real "non-DayZ" feature is the cheat menu... And that is totally optional, of course.

The second non-DayZ feature is something Zed Hunter & Unknown put in, the randomized load out when you spawn.

This can be taken out, but it is linked to the AI Bandits & Survivors, too. It chooses weapons and gear from the available Loot spawn tables and them puts them into the hands of the player when he/she spawns and also the AI Bandits and Survivors when they spawn. So, it can't be taken out just for the player, or the AI will spawn with no weapons.

Everything else is supposed to mimic MP to some extent, however.

I didn't even realize people replied to this thread. I'm sorry, DayZ_SP. Somehow I thought you added shipping intro (you float in the the island on a boat, and gotta get from A to B). And monsters of some sort. That's what I was refering to.

Obviously that was not the case, and I really appriciate everything you and others have done for the community.
